Written by Joaquín Mecozzi

What are reservation analytics?

Reservation analytics provide a consolidated view of the Bookings system performance, allowing you to understand how reservations are generated, completed, and distributed over a given period.

This information is key to optimizing operations and decision-making.

What metrics does it include?

Within the analytics panel you can view:

  • Total reservations by period and status (confirmed, canceled, completed, etc.)

  • Average group size, to understand customer behavior

  • Reservation completion rate, which measures how many reservations are actually completed

  • Approximate revenue, estimated based on the reservations made

  • Reservations by location, ideal for businesses with multiple venues

  • Reservation status distribution, in visual format

  • Group size distribution, to detect consumption patterns

  • Performance breakdown by source, such as website, agent, manual entry, or walk-in

What are these metrics for?

Analytics allow you to:

  • Detect improvement opportunities in each reservation channel

  • Optimize availability and capacity by location

  • Understand the value and behavior of different group sizes

  • Evaluate the actual impact of each reservation source

Summary

Reservation analytics transform data into actionable insights, helping to improve occupancy, profitability, and operational efficiency.
