How to: Delete or Deactivate a RAY User/Admin?

💡 You want to delete a user / Administrator from your store and you don't know how to do it, it is very simple and you will only have to perform the following steps:

📌 To carry out this procedure, you need to have a Company_Admin user (generally, the person who makes decisions about the service in your company) or a Stores_manager user.

We recommend that you do not delete users, but rather deactivate them. This way, you will be able to retain the audit data, unless it is an administrator who has not interacted with the platform or it was created in error.

🚨 IMPORTANT:

Before proceeding to delete or deactivate a user, verify that they are not active in other stores that are not under your management.

If you deactivate a user who does not belong to store A, but belongs to store B, they will lose RAY access in all stores

You must enter

  1. Settings

  2. Identifies the user who is no longer part of the work team.

  3. Click on the nut icon ⚙️ to access the settings.

  4. Deactivate

  • Option A: Select “Disable” from the drop-down menu by clicking the gear icon ⚙️

  • Option B: Click "Edit" and uncheck the "Active" box to disable it

By carrying out this procedure, the user will not be able to access the platform in any way. To log in again, you must activate the "Active" box.
