馃挕 We all know the Google search engine, but did you know that it provides you with a fundamental tool for users to find your business?
It is called Google My Business (or perhaps you have read it as GMB) and it allows you to create listings for companies that will be shown to users searching for businesses in the area with certain characteristics.
馃搶 How does it work?
When someone searches on Google 馃攳 for something related to a commercial activity, such as: "Bars in Guadalajara" or "Drying shop in Buenos Aires" the result shows the first three Google listings that matched the keywords.
馃搶 What do I gain by having the GMB listing for my business?
The great thing about having your token is that there are all advantages!
Provide the client with a summary of 馃搱 your commercial activity in a nice and orderly way: description of your activity, images of your product or service, opening hours (with the possibility of keeping them updated when there are non-business days), etc.
Provides direct actions: it allows you to configure your website 馃捇, your address, your telephone number, making customers take actions directly from your Google listing, such as calling you or knowing how to get to your location.
And most importantly: allow customers to leave you ratings 馃専 and reviews about what their experience was when they hired your services or attended your location.
馃毃 This last point is very important since you begin to understand your business from the point of view of your clients. Having positive 馃憤 and recent reviews will make your listing better positioned and when new clients search for businesses like yours in the area, you will appear in the first results.
On the other hand, serving clients who have had a bad experience 馃槨 is also very important, giving them a response, support so that they take you into account again in the future and so that other clients who read you on the Google profile understand your positive attitude 馃榾 in the face of an angry customer.
